While some are deep into futuristic experiments in mixtures not collected that do not totally convincing , other major Parisian houses do what they do best giving: create beautiful clothes that feel good, that support and will always be stylish and chic, and within two years, ten or twenty.
Lanvin is the case that the hand of Alber Elbaz manages to be one of the best shows of Fashion Week in Paris each season.
The parade of the Lanvin autumn / winter collection 2011/2012 started very sober, all black, with coats and coats with stringent cuts, shoes men and little concession to the flourishes and details. I reminded the collection of Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2010, with many touches monastery.
