H & M also increases in sales: up 15%, to EUR 4.178 million

The confrontation between the two great powers of the moment textiles continues. Yesterday Inditex was who announced a 15% increase in sales for the first quarter and is now H & M who achieved a 12% increase in sales in the second quarter of fiscal 2011 (March to May).

This translates to 4.178 million euros (originally SEK 36.947 million), 14% more than last year. A surprise for the market expected results: a 1% decrease in comparable sales (stores open at least 13 months of activity), which rose by 2%.

The number of H & M has fallen to 2,297 compared to 2,575 last year to May 31.

Large remains well above showing that continue to grow without limits. The client continues to promote this type of fast fashion stores.
