Frida Kahlo remains iconic from the cover of Vogue Mexico

Frida Kahlo Mexico vogue

? If you could take the cover of a fashion magazine to any fashion icon of all time who llevaríais? In Vogue Mexico have it clear, to the huge Frida Kahlo (1907-1954), the painter who was a style icon, but further highlighted by its strong personality and talent. Frida appears on the cover of a special over a hundred pages sold with the November issue of the journal, a real treat for fashion magazines collectors and art lovers.

In particular, experts, contemporary artists, writers and art historians try to unravel the enigma Frida Kahlo keys, due to exposure to the Frida Kahlo Museum organized this month, in collaboration with Vogue, Smoke and Mirrors: dresses Frida Kahlo, an exhibition showing her dresses that have been hidden for over 50 years by order of her husband, Diego Rivera. The artist continues to influence current fashion designers for their creativity and expressiveness.

I would not mind a trip to Mexico to see the exhibition. The artist and the country worthwhile.
