Atelier Versace Spring-Summer 2013: the kitsch comes to Haute Couture

Atelier Versace Spring 2013

I've never been a big fan of Versace, even in the days of Gianni, but the Italian firm with his arrival at the Haute Couture, tries to offer something more, to step beyond sexy dresses. Sometimes it succeeds, but in most cases is lost on the way. I look at the collection and, frankly, I do not see Couture, with one exception.

Tailoring for the day

Designs created for the day are a good attempt to adjust the brightness of Versace suit to sobriety. And gold pinstripe work together better than it might seem.

Donatella loves yellow

Yellow tinted chicken, to be exact. It's spectacular, flashy, bold and everything likes Donatella.

In this part of the collection was lost in a jumble of leather, vinyl, leather, studs and feathers. I guess I will have your audience, but I would not pay one euro for almost none of this.

Evening Dresses

What we really know is right to the Italian evening dresses are body hugging, getting women to be powerfully sexy.

The brightest lamé jackets and long used as a disco dresses get a deluxe look.

Some futuristic touches, shoulder pads as accessories, asymmetries in low dresses provide enough interest to the parade.
