Valentino Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2013: Romantic austerity

valentino couture cover

I recognize that I have a weakness for Valentino, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli ever do better. A well-matched design duo who transfer their skin deep romanticism to their collections. The first impression upon seeing pictures of his parade of haute couture spring-summer 2013 was a bit of déjà vu past collections made but when you see the show moving and the number of pieces of extreme delicacy you realize that they are still one of the kings of couture.

The new couture collection is a garden full of beautiful flowers of extreme delicacy but with absolute certainty that they are strong and garments for women with personality.
